Base Location: Belfast

What is the Role?

We are looking to recruit a Meter Reader within Airtricity Gas NI. In this role you will:

- provide accurate reads of various gas meters in accordance with our licence to supply conditions for Domestic, I&C, Contract and PAYG customers

- record and report all meter and network safety related issues and accurately complete all relevant documentation

- assist with general servicing and maintenance of Quantum and Libra PAYG meters as required

- liaise with internal departments regarding meter reading queries and supply licence compliance

- work towards set targets as part of a team using established guidelines, procedures and process driven methodology

- actively contribute to team meetings and one to one's including the sharing of any knowledge that has been gained through experience or from contact with others

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- excellent organisational skills, with exceptional attention to detail and a passion for always delivering service excellence

- a flexible approach to working hours, as some evening & weekend work will be required

- previous experience within a customer service or utilities environment or in a driving / delivery role would be advantageous

- strong interpersonal skills with problem solving ability

- a full, current driving licence
